Complete Reamker Story In the city of Ayutyea, there was a King called Tusarot. He had three Queens named Kaousurya, Kaikasey, and Deulaika (Neang Samotreadevi). With these Queens, King Tusarot had four sons: Preah Ream (the son of Kaousurya), Preah Leak and Preah Bhirut (the sons of Kaikasey), and Sutrut (the son of Deulaika). When they were young, these four princes were sent to study with a hermit. When the four princes had finished their studies, the hermit had Preah Ream shoot his bow to show his power and to see whether he was already clever and strong. Convinced that the four had finished their studies, the hermit led the brothers back to the city of Ayutyea. At that time, the father of Queen Kaikasey, who was King of the city of Kaikaet, sent a royal messenger asking that Preah Bhirut and Preah Sutrut be sent to reign over his city. King Tusarot agreed. When Preah Bhirut and Preah Sutrut arrived in the city of Kaikaet, King Kaikaet prepared their coronation ceremony. We turn now to the city of Langka, on the island of the yeak or the demons. The king of the yeak was called Krong Reap, and he had ten heads and twenty arms. Krong Reap had an older brother called Thabanaso and two younger brothers called Pipaet and Kum bhakar. Krong Reap had had two Queens named Montolkiri and Akinaet. The first Queen, Montolkiri, had a baby girl who could only cry: "Langka will fall, Langka will fall". Krong Reap called his younger brother, the fortune teller Pipaet, to interpret the baby's cries. he learned that the child would bring misfortune to the city of Langka. Therefore Krong Reap ordered a yeak calleed Soksan to take the baby girl, put her in a trunk, and throw her in the river. King Januk was King of the city of Mithila. Because he had no children and thus no heirs, King Januk went to become a hermit in the forest of Hemapean. One day, when the hermit King sent his attendants to draw water, they saw a trunk floating in the river. They pulled the trunk to shore, opened it, and saw a baby girl inside of it. Because the hermit King did not know how to take care of a baby, he put the girl back in the trunk and buried it, asking the devada (or goddesses) to take care of the baby so that she wouldn't die. In the forest near the city of Langka there were many hermits. Krong Reap, the demon King, was afraid that these hermits might band together and come after him. The demon King sent his grandchild Kakanaso, in the form of a bird, to peck at the hermits and chase them away. The hermits decided to sent Preah Voa Soipeat and Preah Piswamit to go and ask for help from King Dusarot's sons, Preah Ream and Preah Leak. When Preah Ream came to the forest to help the hermits, he shot arrows killing Kakanaso and then Swahuh as well. Swahuh was the son of Kakanaso. When the yeak Moharik, who was a friend of Krong Reap, saw that Preah Ream and Preah Leak has killed Kakanaso and Swahuh, he ran off to the island of Langka. King Januk, who had left they trunk with the baby girl buried for sixteen years, decided to go and find it. Since he had forgotten where he had buried the trunk, King Januk took the King of the cows, Usapakreach, to plough the ground and look for it. When they found the trunk and opened it, they discovered that the girl inside had grown into an extremely beautiful virgin who King Januk named Neang Seda. The King then led King Januk had a bow which was very heavy. The King announcd that whoever was clever and strong enough to lift the bow would be give Neang Seda as his Queen. Kings from many cirties came to try ato lift the bow, but none of them managed to lift it. The hermits Preah Voa Soipeat and Preah Piswamit led Preah Ream to try to lift the bow and he did so easily. King Januk then prepared the wedding. Preah Ream led his new Queen back to the city of Ayutyea. When they wer halfwary home, Preah Ream and his party met a yeak called Ream Borom Eyso who wanted to fight for Neanh Seda. The yeak soon lost the fight and gave his bow to Preah Ream in homage. Preah Ream then forgave the yeak. When Preah ream arrived home in the city of Ayutyea, Kaikasey, the second Queen of King Tusarot, had asked the King to give his kingdom to Preah Sutrut. Hearing this news, Preah Ream bid farewell to his father and mother and went to become a hermit in the forest, taking Neanh Seda and Preah Leak with him. Preah Ream’s mother, Kaousurya, wanted to go with her son, but Preah Ream would not allow her to accompany him. There was a yellow-skinned water buffalo called Mohingsaso who had a blue-skinned son call Tupi. Neither Monhingsaso nor Tupi knew they were related to each other. The two water buffalo fought and because Tupi was even more clever and strong than his father, he managed to kill Mohingasso. Later, Tupi wandered into the city of Kas Kem Borei where he met Peali, the green-skinned King of the monkeys, Peali and Tupi began to fight but neigther could win and they decided to continue their fight in a cave. Before entereing the cave, Peali told his younger brother Sugrib to watch the mouth of the cave. If red blood flowed from the cave, it would mean that it was the blood of Peali and asugrib should take a boulder and block the door of the cave, thus trapping Tupi inside. If instead Sugrib saw blue blood flowing from the cave, this would mean that Tupi had been killed and that Peali was victorious. Peali killed Tupi in the cave, but, because at that time it was raining very hard, the blood which flowed from the cave mixed with the earth and looked red to Sugrib. He thought the muddy rain water was the blood of his brother and so he took a boulder and blocked the mouth of the cave. Peali cut off the head of Tupi and used it as a battering ram to bash his way out of the cave. Peali was very angry and rushed at Sugrib, beating him and accusing his younger brother of wanting to kill him. Sugrb was very angry too and ran off to cry in the forest where he met his nephew, the white monkey Hanuman. Preah Ream led Preah Leak and Neang Seda on into the forest until they came to a small river near the city of Kokan where they met a hunter called Kokan. They asked him to help them cross the river. On the other bank, they met a hermit who told them the way to an ashram where Preah Ream and his party could stay. At that time, the three Queens of King Tusarot – Kaousurya, Kaikasey, and Deulaika – along with Preah Bhirut, Preah Sutut, and their soldiers came to invite Preah Ream to return to Ayutyea. But Preah Ream refused, and his mother, brothers, and the two other Queens returned to Ayutyea. Preah Ream, Neang Seda, and Preah Leak continued on again, meeting a yeak called Pireat who wanted to fight for Neang Seda. Preah Ream shot an arrow, killing this yeak. Preah Ream’s party then stopped to rest, seding Preah Leak to pick fruit in the forest. When Preah Leak went to pick fruit in the forest, he suddently saw a sword which he picked up. A yeak call Kombakaas came and said that the sword was his. Preah Leak and the yeak began to fight, and Preah Leak eventually killed Kombakas. Preah Leak then took the sword and offered it to Preah Ream in homage. Preah Ream, Preah Leak, and Neang Seda continued on and met a goddess called Neanh Sorya whom Preah Eyso (Siva) had punished by making her guard an eternal flame. Preah Ream pitied this goddess, and therefore shot an arrow putting out th fire, thus freeing Neanh Sorya to return to Kailas Heaven. The two yeaks, Krong Kar and Moharik, raised their troops to fight against Preah Ream. Preah Ream killed krong Kar and Moharik ran back to the city of Langka. There was a female yeak called Neang Surpanaka who was the niece of Krong Reap. Neang Surpanaka was a widow and she was flying around looking for a husband when she saw Preah Ream in the forest and instantly fell in love with him. She flew down and began to bean Neang Seda and shout at her. Then Neang Surpanaka changed herself from a yeak into the form of a beautiful woman and went to flirt with Preah Ream. Preah Ream chased Neang Surpanaka away but she kept returning to disturb him again and again. Finally Preah Leak caught Neang Surpanaka and cut off her nose. Neang Surpanaka was furious and ran off to tell Drong Reap what had happened. She also described to the King of the yeak how beautiful neang Seda was. Her description of neang Seda made Krong Reap want Neang Seda as his Queen. Krong Reap ordered his friend, the yeak Moharik, to go to the ashram of Preah Ream and change his form into that of a beautiful golden deer. When Neang Seda saw the beautiful golden deer grazing in front of her ashram, she wanted its hide as a rug to sit on, so she asked Preah Ream to go and shoot it for her. When Preah Ream went off to hung the deer, Krong Reap changed himself into the form of a hermit and came close to Neang Seda. Grabbing Neang Seda, he put her on his chariot and flew away with her. In the sky, they met a bird call Jetayuh who founght Krong Reap. Krong Reap pulled a ring from Neang Seda’s fingers and hurled it at the bird, breaking his wing and wounding the bird so badly that it fell to the ground. As they flew on, Neang Seda let her scarf fall, imploring the monkeys in the trees to tell Preah Ream what had happened. Krong Reap took Neang Seda to the island of Langkar where he kept her in a palace in the garden of Asuk, surrounded by many female attendants. Krong Reap went to see Neang Seda often, but he could not win her heart. He did not want to force himself on Neang Seda since he was afraid that she might try to kill herself. Still her was very angry because Neang Seda wouldn’t let him touch her. When Preah Ream returned from hunting the golden deer and couldn’t find Neang Seda, he wept, jetayuh came with Neang Seda’s ring, paid homage to Preah Ream, and told him that Krong Reap had stolen Neang Seda. Then Jetayuh died. Preah Ream shot an arrow which cremated the body of Jetayuh. Preah Ream then went to meet the peakcocks and the monkeys to whom Neang Seda had given her scarf. Later, along the way, Preah Ream met a yeak with the face of a horse called Asamukai. Preah Ream killed Asamukai and continued on, meeting a yeak called Kompul who had no legs. Kompul told Preah Ream the way to the island of Langka, and Preah Ream, piting Kompul, shot an arrow which turned him into a devada (goddess). As a goddess, Kompul then went to live in the heavens. Preah Ream continued on with Preah Leak. They stopped to rest under a huge tree. In the tree, there was a white monkey called Hanuman who was very clever and strong. Hanuman began to pick leaves and drop them on Preah Ream as he slept. Preah Leak shot arrows at the monkey to get him to stop, but Hanuman causght all of Preah Leak’s arrows. Waking up from the commotion, Preah Ream called Hanuman to come down from the tree. Hanuman saw that Preah Ream had the sign of the charka on the palms of his hands and on the soles of his feet. The monkey therefore knew that Preah Ream was a holy person so he climbed down and paid homage to him, asking if he could become one of Preah Ream’s commanders. Hanuman’s uncle, Sugrib, then came and asked Preah Ream to help him take revenge on his brother Peali. Preah Ream told Sugrib to go and fight with Peali in the sky. As the monkeys were fighting, Preah Ream shot an arrow at Peali who caught it and balanced it on a golden gobbler, asking the arrow to stop for seven days so that he could perform a ceremony. After Peali had performed this ceremony with his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, the arrow entered his body, killing him. The arrow then flew back into the quiver of Preah Ream. Preah Ream made Sugrib the King of what had been Peali’s city, Kas Kem Borei. Sugrib pledged that the city with all it’s forces would loyally serve Preah Ream. Angkut, who was the son of Peali, also pledged his allegiance to Preah Ream. Preah Ream then decided to go with his troops to thisland of Langka. Since Preah Ream was not familiar with the road to Langka, he sent Hanuman and Angkut to go and borrow a map from Mohajumpu, the monkey King who ruled over the city of Simboli. When Hanuman and Angkut went to meet Mohajumpu, they acted insolently and didn’t show the proper respect. Mohajumpu was very angry and he put the two monkeys in an iron cage. During the night, Hanuman and Angkut tore apart this cage and flew up to break the tower off of Mohajumpu’s palace. Inside the palace, they saw the sleeping King. They two monkeys lifted up the bed on which Mohajumpu was sleeping, and flew with it to pay homage to Preah Ream. Preah Ream had changed his form into that of Preah Neareay (Vishnu) with four heads and eight arms. When Mohajumpu woke and saw the image of Vishnu, he immediately paid homage to Preah Ream. Mohajumpu pledged allegiance to Preah Ream, offeing his four sons Kay Sat, Jumpuhpean, Nil Ek, and Nil Phat as commanders, and giving Preah Ream more monkeys to use as soldiers and administrators. Preah Ream, Preah Leak and their troops stayed in the city of Simboli while Hanuman, Angkut, and Jumpuhpean went off to spy on the island of Langka. Preah Ream gave the monkeys a ring and a hankerchief to show to Neang Seda as a sign that they were reall his messengers. Alson their way, the three monkeys met a yeak called Rithikan whom they killed before continuing on their way. When Hanuman, Angkut, and Jumpuhpean had led their troops about half of the way, night fell and the three monkeys and their troops slept amoung some rocks. A devada whom Preah Eyso (Siva) had punished by turning her into a yeak called Asobalan, came and began beating Angkut while he was sleeping. Startled, Angkut awoke and began to fight with the yeak. But by asking questions while they were fighting, Angkut learned that the yeak was really a devada who was being punished. The monkey immediately stopped fighting and begave to caress the back of the yeak until Asobalan chaged back into a goddess and rose up into the heavens. Hanuman went to meet a wman called Bhutmeali who had once been a devada. She had been punished by Preah Eyso so that she had to live on an island in the middle of the ocean. Hanuman made love to Bhutmeali and she told him they way to the island of Langka. When the monkeys continued on with their troops, they met a hermit who again showed them the way to ths sea. Because they didn’t have a boat, Hanuman made himself huge so that his tail formed a bridge on which all the monkeys could cross the sea. Hanuman, Angkut, and Jumpuhpean led their troops on to meet a bird called Sampali, who had a bare body with no feathers. The three monkeys told the bird that they were commanders of Preah Ream. Sampali asked the monkeys to fly up in the air theree times and after they had done so, the bird’s feathers grew back and he could fly. Sampali then flew up in the air with the three monkey commanders and showed them the way to the island of Langka. The monkeys and their troops decided to wait on the shores of the sea while Hanuman flew alone to this island of Langka. In the middle of the ocean, Hanumand met a yeak whom he killed before continuing on to Langka. Hanuman changed himself into the form of a tiny white monkey and went to meet the hermit Khobut. The hermit told Hanuman that Neang Seda was being held in the garden of Asauk. Hanuman slipped into the garden to look for Neang Seda. Neang Seda had become very angry with Krong Reap whow was always coming to flirt with her. When Hanuman entered the garden, Neang Seda was just about to hang herself fro a tree branch. Hanuman rushed to hold Neang Seda’s feet from below. Then he told her all that was happening, showing her the ring and the scarf which Preah Ream had given him to make Neang Seda believe him. Neang Seda wept and begged Hanuman to tell Preah Ream to come and help her. Before Hanuman returned to Preah Ream and his troops, he destroyed the garden of Asauk. One of the children of Krong Ream called Sahaskomar saw hanuman destroying the garden, and began screaming at the monkey. Hanuman killed Sahaskomar. Krong Reap captured Hanuman and wrapped him in cloth, pouring gasoline??! Over him and lighting him on fire with a torch. Hanuman flew up, dropping the burning cloth as he flew so that the city of Langka caught on fire. Hanuman saw fire still burning on his tail and he coud not put it out. He went to ask a hermit what he should do, and the hermit told him that if he put his tail in his mouth, the fire would go out. Hanuman then flew back to Angkut and Jumpuhpean and together they went to meet Preah Ream. By then, Preah Ream had assembled eighteen clever and stong commanders, with Sugrib and Mohanjumpu as his right hand men. The monkey commanders set off with their troops to the edge of the sea in order to build a road across the sea to the island of Langka. When Krong Reap learned that Preah Ream wasw coming with his troops, he called Pipeat, his younger brother anf fortune teller, to predict what would happen. Pipaet predicted that if Krong Reap did not give Neang Seda back, terrible things would befall the city of Langka and its inhabitants. Hearing this prophecy, Krong Reap was very angry and wanted to kill Pipaet, but Indrajit begged him not to do so. Pipeat was also furious with Krong Reap for not accepting his truthful prophecy, so he bade farewell to his wife and cildren and left the city of Langka to go an ask to join the forces of Preah Ream. Hanuman captured Pipeat as he wasw coming to look for Preah Ream. Hanuman tied Pipaet cup and took him to meet Sugrib who in turn took him to pay homage to Preah Ream. Preah Ream decided to make Pipaet his prophet and fortune teller. Hanuman captured a yeak called Soksan and took him to pay homage to Preah ream. Preah Ream’s forces mad tattoos on the yeak’s face before releasing him. Krong Reap then changed his form into that of ahermit in order to go and spy among the troops of Preah Ream. Krong Reap turned Neang Ponyakay, the daughter of Pipeat, into the form of Neaqng Seda and had her float as if deadin the river in front of Preah Ream, thinking that this would make Preah Ream withdraw his troops. When Preah Ream and Preah Leak saw the corpse of Neang Seda floating in the water, they wept thinking that the body was really that of Neang Seda. Hanuman was more suspicious however and asked that the corpse be cremated while he flew up and waited in the sky above. When they had lit the funeral pyre, Neang Ponykay flew up and Hanuman caughther. He brought her down to pay homage to Preah Ream. Preah Ream asked Sugrib to question Neang Ponyakay and they discovered that she was the daughter of Pipaet. They therefore let her go and hanuman accompanied her half of the way to this island of Langka. Along the way , the two made love and a child was conceived. Preah Ream ordered Sugrib to make a road across the sea to Langka, using all the monkey troops to carry stones and drop them into the sea. Nil Phat brought stones to the site, while Hanuman was supposed to catch them and stack them at the edge of the sea. Hanuman used one of his hangds for catching the stones while playing a game similar to checkers with the other hand. This made Nil Phat very angry and he sent Hanuman to get the stones instead. Hanuman collected a huge load of stones and then dropped them all down on Nil Phat. Nil Phat became even more angry and the two monkeys began to fight. Preah Leak finally had to step in an stoptheir fight. Meanwhile the Queen of the fish, Sovann Macha (who had the body of a human and the tail of a fish) ordered her fish to take away all the stones that the monkeys had managed to dropinto the sea. Seeing that many of the stones put down by the monkeys were quickly disappearing, Hanuman dove into the water and saw Sovann Macha. Hanuman caught the Quen of the fish and they fell in love. Sovann Macha then ordered her fish to help build the road by carrying rocks in their mouths and putting them into place in the sea. Hanuman and Sovann Macha had a child called Mechanub who had the body of a white monkey and the tail of a fish. A yeak king called Wereap asked to adopt Mechanub and took him to live under the sea in the city of Batdal. When the road across the sea to the island of Langka was completed, Preah Ream and Preah Leak led all their commanders and troooops cross the road, building a royal encampment near the city of Langka. Preah ream then sent Hanuman to the Mearkut Mountain. When Hanuman arrived at the Mearkut Mountain, he met a yeak called Komkaso who was a commander of Krong Reap. Hanuman killed the yeak. Preah Ream sent Angkut to take a letter to Krong Reap. When Angkut arrived at the city of Langka, Krong Reap’s Queen Montolkiri offered the monkey food since he was her son from her earlier union with Peali. Angkut refused to eat the food. Weh Angkut went to read the letter to Krong Reap, the monkey coiled his tail into a seat hight than the throne of the King of the yeak. The letter from Preah Ream explained that Krong Reap had to give Neang Seda back to Preah Ream or else Preah Ream would come with his troops and destroy the city of Langka and all of its inhabitants. Krong Reap was furious and jumped up to slap Angkut’s face, but Angkut kicked the throne of Krong reap so that Krong Reap fell to the ground. Angkut then flew off. On his way back to Preah ream, Angkut met a yeak commander called Kompoan. Angkut fought with the yeak and killed him beforereturning to Preah Ream’s encampment. Krong Reap went to meditate in order to become even more clever. Pipeat informed Preah Ream of Krong Reap’s meditation, and Preah ream sent Sugrb to disturb Krong Reap. Sugrb cut off the arms and headdress of Krong Reap and then returned to Preah Ream. {Krong reap of course had magical powers allowing him to immediately reattach his own arms}. Krong reap then sent two commanders to invite his nephew, Weyreap, who lived in the city of batdal, to come and heolp him fight Preah Ream. Weyreap went to see Krong Reap and asked his permission to go to the forest of Somsan in order to make a sleeping potieon with which to capture Preah ream. Pipa 94. Hanuman changed himself into an ordinary white monkey and went to meet Sathasoh in the middle of the road. Hanuman asked Sathasoh why he dared to go to fight against Preah Ream. Sothasoh boasted to the title white monkey that he had the power to shot an arrow into the heavens and thus to cause spears to rain down on his enemies. Knowing this, Hanuman went and told Angkut to fly up above the battlefield and wait in the sky. When Sathasoh shot his arrow causing many spears to fall, Angkut caught them all and threw them to the monkey troops who used them to kill the yeak troops. Hanuman then killed Sathasoh, cutting off his head and taking it to Preah Ream in homage. 95. Preah Ream went to fight Vrul Chambang. Preah Ream killed many of the yeak troops and Virul Chambang fled from the battlefield. 96. Virul Chambang ran to hide with Neang Rea Narin in the forest of Hemapean, but Neang Rea Narin refused to let him stay there and Virul Chambang ran on to hide in the ocean. 97. Preah Ream sent Hanuman to chase Virul Chambang and capture him. Hanuman changed his form into that of a beautiful man and asked Neang Rea Narin where Virul Chambang was. When she had told Hanuman, the monkey went to the edge of the sea and made him huge, combing the ocean until he found Virul chambang. Hanuman threw Virul Chambang against a mountain, killing him and cutting off his head. 98. Hanuman carried Neang Rea Narin up to Kailas Heaven. Hanuman then took the head of Virul Chambang to pay homage to Preah Ream. 99. Krong Reap ordered a victory throne to be built. He then went to see his grandfather, Preah Meali Reach Brum (Brahma), and Preah En (indra). Krong Reap asked the two gods to resolve his dispute with Preah Ream. 100. Preah Brum (Brahma) and Preah En (Indra) descended from the Heaven to the encampment of Preah Ream. Krong Reap brough Neang Seda to the encampment as well for a hearing on their dipute. Krong Reap explained that he had simply found Neang Seda in the forest, and that later Preah Ream had come with his troops and started a fight over the girl. Preah Ream Protested, claiming instead that Krong Reap had stolen his Queen. After listening to their arguments, Preah Brum and Preah En decided that Krong Reap should give Neang Seda back to Preah Ream. Krong Reap was furious and mounted his elephant with Neang Seda to return to the island of Langka. Preah Brum and Preah En repeated their decision that Neang Seda should be returned to Preah Ream. The gods returned to Heavens then, but Krong Reap refused to accept their judgement. 101. Krong Reap went to meditate on the mountain of Preah Somear. Preah Eyso (Siva), the King of the gods and goddesses, sent Peali, who was living in the heaven as a god, to go and disturb Krong Reap's meditation. 102. Peali destroyed Krong Reap's meditation and Krong Reap returned to the city of Langka. 103. Krong Reap went with his troops to fight Preah Ream. Preah Ream and Preah Leak prepared for battle as well. Krong Reap used his spear (called '' kombel phat") to seriously wound Preah Leak. Preah Ream then shot an arrow which hit Krong Reap but didn’t kill him. Krong Reap returned to the city of Langka. 104. Pipaet told Preah Ream to send Hanuman to steal the stone mortar belonging to Neang Montolkiri as well as the metal pestle belong to Kalaneak, the King of Batdal, so that they could grind medicine to heal Preah Leak's wound. 105. Hanuman went to collect the urine of the King of the bulls, Usapakreach, in order to make the medicine for Preah Leak. He stole the metal pestle from King Kalaneak and then went to cast a sleeping spell over krong Reap and Neang Montolkiri, tying their hair together as they slept. Having done this, Hanuman stole their stone mortar and brought and brought it back to Preah Ream. 106. When Krong Reap and Neang Montolkiri awoke, they saw that their hair was tied together and their couldn't untangle themselves. They asked a hermit called Khobut what they should do. The hermit told Neang Montolkiri to slap Krong Reap's head three times and that then their hair would untangle. 107. Once the medicine had been made, Pipaet applied it to Preah Leak's wound and could pull out Krong Reap's spear easily. Preah En (Indra) brought holy water and sprinkled it on Preah Leak's wound so that it healed. Then Preah Leak and his forced returned to their encampment. 108. Krong Reap asked his older brother, Thabanaso, to help him fight against Preah Ream. 109. Thabanaso and Preah Ream each rode a chariot into battle. The arrows of Thabanaso killed many of the monkey soldiers. Preah Ream shot arrows which broke apart Thabanaso's chariot and killed all the yeak soldiers. 110. Tabanaso then made himself as huge as Preah Brum (Brahma). He was so big that he blocked the light, and in the resulting darkness he ate all the remaining monkey soldiers. 111. Preah Ream sent Preah Bhirut, Preah Sutrut, Reamleak, and Jupleak to go with their troops and help the city of Kaikaet. 189. When Preah Bhirut, Preah Sutrut, Reamleak, Jupleak and their troops came close to the city Kaikaet, they sent Jumpuhreach {Jumpupean} with a letter ordering Kompoanpeanureach to withdraw from the city. Kompoanpeanureach refused and a battle ensued. 190. Reamleak and Jupleak fought in the battle and the monkey troops killed many of the yeak troops. Reamleak shots arrows which killed Virunphat and then Kompoanpeanureach, one after the other. 191. Preah Bhirut, Preah Sutrut, Reamleak, Jupleak and their troops then entered the city of Kaikaet and invited the old King to come back to his city. 192. Preah Bhirut and Preah Sutrut, Reamleak, Jupleak and the King of Kaikaet went with their troops to pay homage to Preah Ream in the city of Ayutyea. After they had all met together, Preah Ram sent Preah Bhirut and Preah Sutrut back to the city of Kaikaet to rule. The other commanders went to rule over their various cities. And Preah Ream and Neang Seda ruled happily over the city of Ayutyea from then on. This is the end of the story of Reamker. |
